The following table provides release history information and download links for Office for Mac. The table is ordered by release date, with the most recent release date listed first. The build date is listed in parentheses, in a YYMMDD format, after the version number. All releases after August 22, 2016 are 64-bit only. All releases prior to August 22, 2016 are 32-bit only.


I have a powerpoint assignment due for my class but although I purchased Microsoft 365, I can't download it to my computer because my Mac won't update to Mojave. I contacted Apple support and even got an external drive so I could do a time machine backup and upgrade. Did it but the computer is still not taking Mojave.

Microsoft Office is an office suite for Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS operating systems. On macOS, the suite includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. On Microsoft Windows, the suite includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Publisher.


Eligibility to download Microsoft Office on Columbia-owned devices is generally limited to University officers, support staff, faculty and specific graduate/professional students at CUIMC and CBS.


If you are not eligible, you will not be able to download the installer and will be redirected to a page with additional information. For more information, please visit our Microsoft Campus Agreement information page.


Double-click the file that was just downloaded to run the Office installer. The file name will be Microsoft_Office_16.54.21101001_BusinessPro_Installer.pkg or similar (Microsoft may make slight changes to the name).

Microsoft Office 365 provides all DU students, staff, and faculty members with up to 5 TB of cloud storage, FREE downloads of Microsoft Office Pro Plus for personal computers (Mac or PC) and iPad/Android devices, and the ability to create, edit, and share Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) using a web browser. Using web-based versions of Microsoft Office applications, multiple people can edit documents at the same time!


UD students and employees can download Office using the Microsoft Office 365 Portal, App Store (Apple iOS devices), or Google Play Store (Android Phones). New students can begin downloading Office in either August or January. (Directions below)


To install individual Microsoft Office 365 apps on your ios mobile device, download and install them from the Apple App store on your device. See Microsoft's directions to Install and set up Office on an iPhone or iPad.

Office 365 ProPlus is a full version of the MS Office Suite. CSU currently offers up to 5 free downloads of the Office product for personal use. This product has the same features and functionality as the standard versions of MS Office, it is not a web-based version of Office. Use this version on documents that are filed on the device or that are attachments within an email.


To download MS Office to your personal device, if eligible, sign into your email account via a supported browser, open the APP Launcher and select Office 365. This will open a new page where you will find the option to install office. Follow the directions listed and if prompted to activate Microsoft Office, you will be requested to enter your email address. Enter it as your CSUID@..... and your CampusNet password.


If your account is ever deactivated, any licenses assigned to your account will also be deactivated. Any item that was created using this license will be available in "read only" mode unless the items are moved to an individually licensed office product.


The ability to download this product is restricted to personal devices only. Should you wish to have the latest version of Microsoft Office loaded onto your office computer, or other CSU owned device, please contact the IS&T Help Desk at 216-687-5050.


Should you ever receive an error of "Your account doesn't allow editing on a mac. To learn more, contact your Admin about your office plan." , on the application you are using, in the upper right corner verify that you are signed in, if not, sign in with your CSU credentials (CSU ID number followed by @....."). Otherwise please refer to the information that Microsoft has posted.


Q. How do I get free Office 365 through the Student Advantage?A. If you are a student, visit Office.com/GetOffice365 for more information and installation instructions.You can login using your OCCC username and password to download your free Office 365 ProPlus here. You can download the free Office 365 software using the following steps.


Q. If I have already installed Office 365 University on my computer, what will happen if I attempt to install Office 365 ProPlus through Student Advantage?A. The office client supports having both an Office 365 personal account (used when you signed up for Office 365 University) and a school account (login provided by your school), students will be able to remain signed in with both. Office install will have both your personal and institution ID associated with it after the installation.


Tip: If you see an error that says the Microsoft Office installer.pkg can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer, wait 10 seconds and move the downloaded file to your desktop. Hold Control + click the file to launch the installer.


Microsoft Office is the leading office suite of desktop applications and is available for MS Windows, Mac OS X as well as mobile platform operating systems like Android, iOS (such as on iPads and iPhones), Windows Phone and MS Surface.


The self sign up license facilitates provisioning of the software by letting eligible users sign up, download and install the full suite and/or single applications by themselves on personally-owned computers and tablets [2] without having to fall onto the ICT User Support.


Most UW-Madison faculty, staff, and students have access to download/install Office suite - more details. Note: If you are on a departmental managed computer, contact your departmental IT support staff instead to make sure the correct version of Office is installed on your device.


Students and employees may download and install the latest, full version of Office 365 ProPlus software on up to ten of their personal devices (computers, tablets or phones) with Windows or Apple operating systems.


You are required to have a home internet connection. Your connection speeds must be sufficient for high quality group video calling on Zoom: Dedicated (not shared throughout a household) 1.5 Mbps upload and 5 Mbps download is highly recommended.


Your school or program may have additional or more specific requirements. Programs will notify students prior to orientation about these specifics. Please contact your program's administration office regarding these requirements.


This service is provided to all eligible members of the Penn community. Please note that at this time, the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM) is not participating in the program. Penn Law students, faculty, and staff should download Office ProPlus from Penn Law's Office 365 site. More information at -office-365.


Full-time Penn faculty, staff and students at participating Schools and Centers are eligible for a PennO365 account, which you can use to access Office 365 ProPlus. At this time, the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM) is not participating in the program. Penn Law students, faculty, and staff should download Office ProPlus from Penn Law's Office 365 site. Your PennO365 password is identical to your PennKey password (though it is a discrete password). From the Microsoft portal, you'll be able to download Office365 ProPlus applications and to log into Office Online and OneDrive.


Although you cannot install Office 365 ProPlus applications on a University managed work or public computer, you can log into PennO365 and access Office Online through the local web browser. You will not be able to install Office 365 ProPlus or sync locally saved files to OneDrive. However, you can download or upload locally saved files to OneDrive via your web browser.


After your account expires, you will not be able to install or use new instances of O365 or use Office Online and OneDrive and installed applications will enter reduced functionality mode. This means you will be able to view and print documents stored on personal computers or devices, but will be unable to create/save/edit files. You will not lose any documents created and stored locally on your personal computers or devices. Documents saved on OneDrive will NOT be accessible after you graduate or leave Penn and must be downloaded and saved locally before your PennO365 account expires.


After your PennO365 account expires, you will no longer be able to access OneDrive or the documents saved there. Make sure you download your documents from OneDrive within 60 days of your graduation date or last day at Penn. Faculty and staff should confirm the expiration date of their accounts with their local computing support providers. See the Get IT Help directory to find your support provider.


The Office 365 package for Mac does, unlike the Windows edition, not contain Skype for Business. Mac users must therefore download and install Skype for Business separately. The Skype for Business Client for Mac can be found here: 2ff7e9595c
